can anyone help out.
where was the first weatherspoons pub in leeds i seem to think it was called the moon under water? and where was it?

Did it open before Stick and Twist? It certainly can't have been city centre.

There was a Weatherspoons of that name in Wakefield about 20 years ago, but can't recollect one in Leeds.

If i remember correctly it was moon under water and was the old ebor pub on the ebor gardens estate off york road.

Correct,now the Rose and Crown.
This must be the only pub Wetherspoons
packed in.

thanks for the info re the first weatherspoons in leeds,do you no if the rose and crown is still trading and the address,and what years it was a weatherspoons.

the spoons in dewsbury and wakefield are close.
and the 3 hullets is to close in may for 3 months for a major re-ferb.
