Phil, I'm adding a copy of your post here for future reference, where it might be easier to find by those in need some day

You make your own Leodian. Find any image you want to use. Or use a site like this perhaps

I've tried to get an avatar off this site without success,I suspect
the images I want exceed the 60x60 limit.
How can you scale down a selected image say 100x75 to 60x60
please which most of you seem to have done ?
Try here
http://www.picresize.com/
Upload the pic and choose 'custom size' then you insert the size you want (Is it 48x48 for icons)

I use Easy Thumbnails free to download and use.

It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

I would not recommend using Softonic at all, even downloading software its reputably full of malware ad-ons.
Is this the end of the story ...
or the beginning of a legend?

Ok noted avoid softonic but Easy Thumbnails, which I have used reliably for years, is available from lots of other download sites.
