There's plenty of old signs around painted on the gable ends of shops advertising goods from yesteryear still to be seen around Leeds. They won't last forever & many of them have faded beyond recognition-But there is still a few in mint condition

I recently moved towards the Burley end of Hyde Park and I knew there was a big Tetley's painted sign and within days of me moving there they put a bleedin' billboard over the top of it!! However, there are still two on the same building left.

Derelict York road baths & library entrance. A terrible shame for such an ornate building. Leeds city council-get a grip of things!

Can i ask the secret Leeds people to keep a look out for any old painted signs on the gable ends & let me know if i haven't already got them here http://flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/set ... 535608443/ I don't think there's many more to get. Although this one on Harehills lane has just emerged in the last week from behind the shop sign that's been just been removed.. I was pleased to see this one again :-) Cheers :-)
