I've had a look at quite a number of the photos and they are excellent. Of those I saw I particularly liked that of the washing strung across a street to dry. This link is to one that amused me as I also wondered if it may be one of the bridges over the River Aire that have been mentioned in various SL threads:- https://www.flickr.com/photos/75850763@ ... 038808369/One thing I have noticed in photos in such as Flickr is that the dates given may imply that is when a photo was taken but they seem to be likely that when they were uploaded. Post posting edit: Sorry but I don't seem to be able to display a clickable link nor the image on various attempts. The photo is of a lad climbing across a bridge over a river.

It's this photo you mean Leo.http://tinyurl.com/prm3cgjFunny you mentioned that one. I wondered if it was the same bridge you posted about a few weeks ago? I hadn't studied it properly yet myself so don't know.

Yes 'Dares' are a childhood past time you don't see much of these days. They always involved jumping from heights, or crossing water. Now they can't play conkers in the playground I've just noticed he's uploaded some more photos, added some dates, and better location descriptions. No doubt as a result from the increasing viewing figures and comments from facebook. The Rillbank steps photo is now dated 1974, and the rest of the photos seem to span the years 72-75.

That's a fascinating photo yorkiesknob. I don't know the area so to see three bridges so close was new to me.

It's right next to Armley Mills museum, Canal Road old railway station (eagle eyes should spot you an old gas lamp near it) And the old Botany bay shack on the canal. Lots of things to look at around there Leo You can get a good idea of the layout of things herehttp://tinyurl.com/oze92vm
