Just to get the ball rolling, I'll have a go with St Matthew's on Wood Lane. If it's wrong, there can't be that many more to go at.

There is one in Bay Horse Yard in Briggate. It can't be seen most of the time 'cos they've put adoor at the entrance instead of the old iron gate. I do have a photo of it, but I'm not clever enoughyet to post it or paste it or whatever you call it! Perhaps when my granddaughter comes home from uni she.ll show me!

This lamp is electric, unfortunately.
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

I wonder if anyone knows if the metal post in the photo (which I took today, Feb 26 2014) is an old lamp post (possibly gas?) or was it just a post that used to have a sign hanging on it? It is right on the edge of the car park off Street Lane, near Moortown Corner, of the old casino. I shall post another angle view in my next post.

This is the other view of the post. It was very hard to photograph due to the tree branches, but a part on the top of the post sticking up is visible and possibly a piece of it sticking out and down.

I think that it's decorative, IIRC a row was put in when the carpark was improved before the pub closed. May be wrong.
