I have had this booklet for quite a few years, just come across it, forgot I had it to be honest. Has a good description of the surviving gas lamps in Central Leeds in about 1982. Only covers very central Leeds though. Not right good at taking pics so sorry for the quality.

oh right i do apologize i didn't realize my camera view was off. they are the two lampposts im on about hoping theyre original

bliiy britvic i seem to remember reading a tatty book from library that detailed the old gas lamps didnt know there used to be some round back of hoagys hough known as rockley hall yard (bet they had some age)

An absolutely totally 100% shot-in-the-dark guess Jogon but I wonder if that part under the cross bar may just possibly by chance be where the steps were (? still are but blocked off) that you have mentioned in the past that lead to/from The Calls to the River Aire. That is of course only the merest hint of a suggestion of a possibility that I might be right!
