Leeds by gaslight. Let's make a record of them all, before they go.

I have had this booklet for quite a few years, just come across it, forgot I had it to be honest. Has a good description of the surviving gas lamps in Central Leeds in about 1982. Only covers very central Leeds though. Not right good at taking pics so sorry for the quality.

Anyone mentioned it yet.?

Was at the end of Change Alley today and took this pic.

This SL thread of May 16 2013 mentions the lamps in Change Alley and so may be of interest:- http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=4773

If you know it (or I've already put it up on here) be cryptic.

An absolutely totally 100% shot-in-the-dark guess Jogon but I wonder if that part under the cross bar may just possibly by chance be where the steps were (? still are but blocked off) that you have mentioned in the past that lead to/from The Calls to the River Aire. That is of course only the merest hint of a suggestion of a possibility that I might be right! Tongue

Just like the Bus, you do not see one for ages, and then four come at once ?
