The bus is adjacent to St. Margarets View, and will shortly be turning right into Thorn La.http://goo.gl/maps/nZVIF

(see pic) It's on Thorn Lane oppo the Garage, school wall.

This was the entrance to it that was eventually bricked up with non-contemporary brick.

LS1 yup.9th November 1939. Situated off Gledhow Lane, this view shows the construction of an ARP (Air Raid Precaution) Post in the school playground.
