On topic for this hot weather we are having, any idea where this carving can be found in Leeds?

That's an interesting W&W photo Phill. I don't recall seeing the object before. It does not look weathered so I wonder if it is indoors (or very new if outside). PS. Talking of bees there was a report in the YEP on July 15 2013 about some bee hives set up on the top of Queens Hotel. They will be looked after by experienced bee keepers and it is hoped that honey can be collected in due course. Mind you, I wonder if anyone getting stung by a bee near the Queens Hotel can sue!

Bees were used as symbols as "hives of industry" in the nineteenth century days of civic pride... Anything to do with this?
