I believe that at one time Brian Johnston , Bill Frindall and others of the Test Match radio team would get their breakfasts here during their annual match at Headingley.

Hi bramley13,

I live close by the cafe on the Lane. Since 1982 but I know Janet who took over her dads barber shop. She knew Pauline. Can't remember her surname, do you know it? Think there was a couple of lads went in Tom Smith and Paul Kat, used be in a band. I feel sure I have some old pics of the cafe. i will try find them for you. Do you remember the works at the bottom of the Lane near the bridge?
