anyone any pics or seen any,of the cafe on st michaels lane opp the rugby ground gates.my mum owned it in the 60s late 60s.would love to hear from anyone who used to go in there,in that era

that might be the guy who bought it off my mum,she sold it in 1971,ask you mum if she knows pauline

I believe that at one time Brian Johnston , Bill Frindall and others of the Test Match radio team would get their breakfasts here during their annual match at Headingley.

Hi bramley13,

I live close by the cafe on the Lane. Since 1982 but I know Janet who took over her dads barber shop. She knew Pauline. Can't remember her surname, do you know it? Think there was a couple of lads went in Tom Smith and Paul Kat, used be in a band. I feel sure I have some old pics of the cafe. i will try find them for you. Do you remember the works at the bottom of the Lane near the bridge?
