Most modern kids probably think kiosks are supplied for tramps to sleep in as that seems the main use for city centre ones nowadays :geek:

Thanks for that picture, it brings back memories of my Sister, brother and myself trekking up to the Library long before T.V. and taking home as many books as we were allowed.

The three Police Boxes we had dotted around Beeston a few years later were all dark blue.

As for police boxes I have a vague recollection of one on Briggate at least around the mid 1950s but I really am unsure now.
