No i was only saying a big thankyou to all who had taken the time to comment from here, your good self, Brandy, Ls1, Carrol & several other's.. Well what can we do? this is the question? We captured it because there's been 2 attempt's to burn it down already & the place has been systematically trashed so we've done a good thing there by documenting it, As far as i know the place is still well secured keeping the firebugs at bay so that's good thing no2. But it does leave one in a delicate situation methinks

I'm trying to get time to finish this detailed report of the place, Lots of History & archive pics.. I've got about half way through but i will eventually get it finished. I want it to be spot on then let Leodis, English heritage & whoever have a look, use some pics or add links to it..whatever is suitable. you can have a look here but there's pics missing all over the place & the captions are added where the pics are not.. the write up needs doing better e.t.c, e.t.c.http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =321728812

Is there anything worth capturing for posterity on the old Kirkstall Forge site?I know some of it has been demolished but I believethere's an old water wheel somewhere in the complex.

I think it's all down now Stevie.. We had an early evening planned to look at it earlier this year but we ended up doing something else instead.. The area near the river has been flattened i know.
