Following from the Railway cottages thread which has gone off piste a bit I thought i would post this thread. I can think of the barracks that were on Barrack Road, and the old rifles that were on Park Street for starters... Surely there were some on Camp Road, maybe these were the carlton Barracks that are there now but not 100% sure.

Carlton, Harewood and Gibraltar . Not to mention the previous cavalry at the barracks in Barrack Rd.No doubt trawling thro' the archives there'll be others.[But who's going to do THAT again.]?
