Thanks all for your inputs . It seems that the YEP and/or the book has got its facts wrong.

I used to walk up there every day when I worked down North Street and I always thought it was the classiest part of Briggate, Bought some Clobber at Brill's menswear, when I could afford it.

The first Brand New vehicle I ever bought was a Brand New Ford van like that, 1967, reg. L.U.A. 187 from Tate's and it cost £575. taxed on the road.TABBYCAT wrote:Would concur with all that re location and the Anglia van in the picture dates it to at least 1960 at the earliest.

Being a grumpy opinionated old so and so, I registered with the YEP so that I could add comments to the articles. Lately when I enter my details they show as correct but it just sits their saying "processing". Has anyone else had this?

I am not registered so I cannot help about the problem but today's YEP (March 18 2016) has mentions of YEP's brand new website, so I wonder if that is related to your problem.
Talking of the YEP, my copy at least of today's issue has a number of pages that are effectively unreadable due to severe black smearing (? ink).

This has been happening for a while so it isn't related to the new website. What do you think of the new look? It seems a bit messy and disorganised to me.
