This weekend marks a place in Leeds United's history, not even in the great days of Billy B, Giles Jackie Charlton etc. when they were featured on Y. T. V. just about every week plus on National T.V. compares to this weekend. They play Rotherham later today, Liverpool on next Tuesday evening after playing Newcastle last Sunday, so Three matches broadcast live on Sky Sports T.V. in just NIne Days, Don't think even any the Premier league teams of today can boast this. Plus they had a full Two page spread in Thursdays Daily Mail sports section.
36,000 home crowd last week...... just maybe the Slumbering Giant is awakening

Can't believe this, United are on T.V. live again on Saturday playing Aston Villa......... Who needs Ed Balls .

Thats so true Black Prince.
Some of us of a certain age will remember Don Revies frantic bid to sign Alan Ball only to have him rejected after a Medical revealed a hole in the heart condition. (Turned out it was only a Polo Mint in his Pyjama breast pocket)

Have just heard the Plane is to be diverted to Torquay Airport and if it is too late to sign maybe Basil Fawlty could snap him up for a knockdown Fee.

It has been confirmed on the respected Lirpa Loof news website that the signing is subject to Messi being confirmed good enough to play for Leeds United and that is considered very doubtful ;).

Personally I didn't think his style of play would fit in with the Leeds "system"
