Searching Secret Leeds

Is there any way to search within a thread on Secret Leeds?I was looking for references to the Scott Hall pub (no longer with us) in the Leeds Lost Pubs thread, but didn't want to go through the 60 pages (although there's some great stuff in there!)

No.Well, not within the site software anyway which is more than frustrating, particularly when you know something is there.You could try using the browser search option, click on Edit on the top menue bar, from the drop-down menue seledt find the enter a key search word and press go.You'll have to do this for each page of the thread - but easier than trying to read it all. Hope that helps a little/

try a site specific search via Google...go to www.google.co.ukin the search bar type "site:secretleeds.com" followed by what you're looking for. for example:site:secretleeds.com the answer to life the universe and everythingamusingly enough that search brings up three results on secretleeds.com:http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=i ... =lr%3Dhope this helps (and apologies for the rubbish built in search function on the site, which you can find here by the way: http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Search.aspx)cheers,dsco
