Just found this '5 year old, vintage thread'.THENLate 70's much depended on what buses and who's turn to choose the area. Thinking back these soiree's involved walking miles. My fave was Phoenix Bar next to the Mansion for a couple, then down through the park to the Whitehouse at Oakwood for some Greenall Whitley.A swift one in the Gipton, then (via Fitzroy Dr>Gledhow Ln) a pint in the Regent at Chapel Allerton, then the Nags for the evening NOWA tin of Carling @ home.
