Secret Leeds Spectacular Light Show.OK – we talked about doing something with Secret Leeds on Light Night, & this is it.In the week running up to Light Night, the city will become a canvas for Light Projections & photon bombing of myths & legends of Leeds. For examples of previous photon bombing experiments in Leeds, see http://www.leedsmyths.co.uk. On the Friday night, Light Night itself, I have (casually, you know) booked out the whole of the Civic Hall so that visual artist Dave Lynch can turn the best of these Myths & Legends into an awesome, spectacular light show, which will take these ancient stories into cutting edge visual projections that will themselves go down in the memory of the people of Leeds. We are not looking for the truth, necessarily, here, OK? Although stories will not be excluded if they are true… John Harrison handing CharlesI a tankard of gold sovereigns as he fled the Roundheads, Edgar Allen Poe worshipping at St John’s Church, the tunnels used for transporting tigers from City Station to the Town & Country Club. A city is defined as much by the lies that it choses to believe about itself as much as it is by the truths. You log on to http://www.leedsmyths.co.uk (that’s nearly as good a website as www.secretleeds.com!) & you tell your stories there. The submission process is open to all, but I know, I know that our Dear Readers on Secret Leeds will have the best stories! This is your chance to take these stories away from a ‘Secret’ website & into the very, very public eye. A chance to make sure that these stories are remembered, re-remembered, for years.Log on to http://www.leeedsmyths.co.uk & start telling your stories!http://www.lightnight.co.uk

You have to go to www.leedsmyths.co.uk & tell the story there!& possibly explain it a bit better when you get there, cause I have NO IDEA what you are talking about!!!
