Trying to find my uncle or his family?

Hi all, ive been pondering whether to post on here or not.... but this has finally done my head in.. Im trying to find my Uncle Wilfred Jones, he had 2 sons Howard and Stephen and married Gladys. i know of his address upto 1980's his Job etc. but all my avenues of 192 etc.....( have you seen how many Stephen and Howard Jones they are??) have dried up... ive even resorted to friends reunited to see if anything on there..... Tried some possible marriages of the sons ... but got no where... I dont know if Uncle Wilfred has died... there is only one death on the websites for 2006 Cheshire but cannnot find a connection as of yet.. I also await that certificate to try and prove... other than that he would be 91 now. My father passed away 3 years ago, my other uncle is still living... but has not had contact for years....... they were never close family keeping in touch unfortunatly... so i thought may be some of you readers may recall or help me along the way??
