Do you know the Touch of Frost episode that the Old Oak Tree appeared in ? Also any idea when the pub was demolished ?

I don't know for certain, but I'd hazard a guess at around twenty years, as I have friends who live in a newish house built behind the site of the pub.Just another funny little quirk - for many years in the 1960s - 1980s I had very close friends, now sadly long gone, who lived in St. Catherine's Drive, just above the pub, and their bonny little terrier was called ......................Bracken !!

That Frost episode was called "Nothing to Hide" and is oft repeated on ITV3 - shot in 2002, the Old Oak Tree appears in wide shot in the last scene.

There is a picture of the Old Oak Tree taken from the side when it was boarded up and closed.
This was on Facebook Memories of Bramley. So if you make a request the photo owner may post it again.

The Pub i was referring to was when driving past the Bridge Inn Kirkstall, turning right and going a mile or so then the Pub was on the Left hand side, very popular on a weekend with music in the 1960.70s. I thought that was the Old Oak Tree. Are these two one and the same ?.
