The 'Monday Retro' feature on page 22 of the Yorkshire Evening Post (YEP) today (May 23 2016) has an article about the Garden Gate. This is the link to the YEP online version:- http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/your-leeds/nostalgia/leeds-nostalgia-garden-gate-pub-then-and-now-1-7922538

2 mistakes in the second paragraph! 1) it is not a Victorian pub, it was built between 1902-1903, maybe designed in 1901 but still. 2) The biggest mistake in the article " it has changed little in almost 200 years." :? We are a whole 86 years away from the 200th anniversary and I doubt anyone reading this will see that day.
