There is a lack of green space in the city centre though as wobbly says Park square and Merrion gardens are nice though not very big. There are a few pubs with outdoor space though probably not sunbathing areas.Nashs on Merrion street have a really nice raised patio, the Oracle bar over the bridge on Brewery wharf near calls landing is really nice and Wetherspoons in Millennium square is also good in summer. Now the Midnight Bell on Water Lane, not far from you claims to have the best beer garden in Leeds but I have not been. the original Oak in Headingly has a huge garden but I imagine it will be mad in summer
