Anyone know much about this drinking den? havent managed to find any period photos of it so far.

i believe the entrance was the Central Recruitment doorway next to The Regent Pub.

anyone know anything about this mysterious place?

The bouncer was a wrestler and it was a bit of a hole, but on the plus side it was open all hours.

Wasn't it owned by Gil Singh, or was he just the doorman? We went in couple of times to extend our Xmas drinking times. Apparently the only times it was entered by the cops is if they were looking for someone, apart from that they let it be. IIRC it was 50p to get in, it opened at 3pm when the pubs shut.
Sit thissen dahn an' tell us abaht it.

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.
