Remember some loose change and nerves of steel just in case you are offered a half eaten pork pie from a Macbeth-like wrench in one of them!!!! Hello SearsYes the four Leeds pubs of the Apocalypse tour is now on. I've spent the last month hand picking an elite squad of gin soaked dilepidated human wreckage all suicidal enough to escort me into these temples of terminal desolation.I feel rather like one of those early Edwardian gentlemen explorers peering into the glowering unknown. Goodbye my friends, you might not be hearing from me for a while. God save the King! Farewell! you are very brave! My heart goes with you but my body could not bear to!

I'm shocked Big Lil's hasn't had more of a mention (unless I've missed it. I haven't read every page yet!). I've never seen a place so full of characters and horrors. I used to have a friend that worked there and we'd go in sometimes to keep her company. There was always some funny event to entertain us. I really truly miss that place. Even though I'd be terrified to go in these days. What happened to all the weird characters that used to go there?

Someone I used to work with told me a story about one of the bouncers or possibly the owner getting done for murdering one of the customers. I don't find it that hard to believe.
