I do believe that these three areas very popular Sunday walks are still almost as they were in my young days 1940's or thereabouts.     Very popular on nice Sundays in summer, walking the girls or looking for girls. You could start in Armley Park, through to Gotts Park and down at the bottom left corner it was only a cocks stride to Kirkstall Abbey over Amen Corner. In earlier days we used to swim in the canal, anywhere from Leeds bridge up to Bramley.
