Does anyone know what this feature in Roundhay Park represents?

Post by Leodian »

I would be grateful for any information as to what the feature in the photo represents (the photo was taken on Feb 19 2016). The feature is in a site between Canal Gardens and Old Park Road in what I've found might be the Coronation Garden. There did not seem to be an information board by the feature (if there was I did not see it).

I'd say that's a good call.
According to the Park website Coronation Gardens is between Canal Gardens and Tropical World. The area adjacent to Old Park Road at the end of these two Gardens ids labelled the Friends Garden https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=rounh ... nds+garden
