It did make sense though. Can you imagine all these skulls suddenly turning up and the list of missing persons growing longer and longer and longer and longer.....(it doesn't seem right to now place a smiley face ).

It was a lovely old building and I was sad to see it go. We stopped for a nosey one lunchtime and saw workmen disinterring human remains through the hoarding.      That would be the Brunswick Methodist Chapel - I never saw inside of it but it was supposed to be a Georgian Masterpiece.

AY=FULLand this Leodis link should show a drawing of an interior view:- http://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?reso ... LAY=FULLIt looks to have been magnificent inside. I wonder what happened to the monument?

Was on my netbook yesterday and came across a site where family were saying they had no idea where their relatives in St Georges' field were or their gravestones.I can't get over how Leeds just barged on ahead with such a delicate matter and din't even try find the living relatives. The university may be congratulated for saving a lot of the old buildings but seems to me they're invading Leeds.
