I'm thinking of entering this race

Twice up that damned hill!!!!!

I've raced MTBs round there in the early 90's, & I was a lot younger than (obviously)
Now, knocking on the door of 50, I'm thinking of running (crawling??) up it!!

Like I said, crazy!!!!

I recall cycling to Post Hill with a friend in my late teens. I actually had no idea where it was as he lead the way and I hadn't been near there by any other mode of transport so couldn't find it on my OS map.
Thank you for reminding me of the place -- I really must try to find a way to cycle there and back some time if I get a little more fit.

Thanks guys!!

Must admit, in terms of getting up the hill, I'm not looking forward to it

I am a fell-runner, but this one is rather silly!!

It even puts Trooper Lane, over at Halifax into the shade!!! (& that gains 570 feet in half-a-mile!!, on cobbles), I ran...& walked!!.... up that in the 'Bluebell Trail 10-Mile', courtesy of the Stainland Lions
