I wondered who the runners were that I saw running by the playground around 10:40ish near the junction of King Lane and The Avenue. I took the photo with this post of the Slavering/Slabbering/Babbling Baby on March 12 2012.

ah thanks camelion, that was definately it. Leodian, this race is organised annually by Valley Striders who are based at Old Leos rugby club. Meanwood Park is the half way point of the 7 mile race
