Re: the slavering baby

Post by Leodian »

I saw the site on May 5 2017 and there seemed to have been no further work done. On passing by today (June 9 2017) I found that the work seems to have been finished and I am very impressed with the result. Though there is still water draining out close by there was a reasonable flow coming out of the retained old baby face feature and draining into the new bowl.

These are 3 of the photos that I took of the site. Hopefully the site will not get vandalised.

Hi tilly :).

Sadly I suspect that it will not be long before it is vandalised. I had thought of not posting about it but it would soon become common knowledge.

This photo (which I took on June 9 2017) is a close-up of what seems to be the old eroded 'Baby' face that has been retained and so some water still drains out of its mouth (most water though started to drain out of the ground several metres away a few years back now).
