here is 2 for u- 1 headingley derives from the name hadens-en-leigh (old english) for hadens clearing in the woods 2 hunslet from huns fleet actually in a 1600 s survey of england saying a dark forbading marsh land. please note i am not dissing hunslet as i have meny friends, also when i was younger most of my nites out started out in hunslet to be exact the railway on balm road. i actually love the place and the residents are the salt of the earth
