A very good question - just thinking quickly about it I can't see any Canadian influence anywhere in the immediate vicinity. On a happy note though, the scaffolding around the Majestic now reveals a most wonderful restoration of the stonework to its 1920s splendour - those responsible for the terrible state and impending doom of the Odeon in Bradford PLEASE take note of what can be achieved.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
