neville hill - origin of name?

hi does any one know why neville hill is named so?beedy eyes

i have found some reference to 'the nevilles of cundall'who invested heavily in lands in leeds during the 15th centuary and were renting many burgage plots,aswell has holding 'positions of importance'and been influential in the running of the town.maybe it's got something to do with them...maybe not,but it's a start.

By the way the instigator of this thread is my missus,i knew all along Wiggy.......,er no i didnt ,hurumph hurumph. Nice find Wiggy,did wonder why it was called that,especilly as its not on a hill,but at the bottom of one,so perhaps the real "Hill" is closer to York Road,where there is the fairly large drop down onto it from Ossie Lane.
