I was told today of 2 sightings of a ghostly train from Victorian times ,complete with passengers in Victorian dress seen near the road from Cross Green to Swillington.Has anyone else heard anything about this or had any sighting/s along here?

Its not Mary Pannel Steve i know that road and story well too.The white wall were talking about is in a wood near Ferry Fryston and would probably have been something to do with Fryston Hall.

Thanks for the information. I would be interested in seeing any more information in that case seeing as I also happen to be a witch as well as being interested in the paranormal and am interested in any stories regarding historical or folklore tales of witches in and around the Wakefield area.
