I was told today of 2 sightings of a ghostly train from Victorian times ,complete with passengers in Victorian dress seen near the road from Cross Green to Swillington.
Has anyone else heard anything about this or had any sighting/s along here?

Its not Mary Pannel Steve i know that road and story well too.
The white wall were talking about is in a wood near Ferry Fryston and would probably have been something to do with Fryston Hall.

Thanks for the information. I would be interested in seeing any more information in that case seeing as I also happen to be a witch as well as being interested in the paranormal and am interested in any stories regarding historical or folklore tales of witches in and around the Wakefield area.
