I think aesthetically they might have worked in Blackpool but given their propensity to overheat and on occasion set alight I don't think practically they should have been exposed to that congestion. It would hsve been nice though if something other than scrap could have been found for them presumably some time before their expected life expectancy.

Thanks for your reply tyke bhoy i think they must have made a loss on there initial outlay i could be wrong has you say they were too good to scrap.
No matter were i end my days im an Hunslet lad with Hunslet ways.
