Is this transport or chat?No Right turns at the Junction of the Headrow and Cookridge Street/Park Row!!Does anybody know what's happening here. The roadwork signs say the closure is for 8 weeks and Metro's site says the bus diversions may be for up to 3 months (presumably noting that roadworks almost always over run). All the left turns are still available its just an island in the middle of the Headrow that is cordoned off preventing right turns and adding nearly a mile to the journey of buses that usually use Park Row north bound and those that turn right into Park Row from the Headrow.

Yeah, tried to drive that way yesterday. I usually park on Greek Street to go to Natwest bank, had to turn left and go round the loop down Albion Street across the headrow and past the car parks and back up to the Headrow. But guess what, in that direction signs say no left turn (except for buses) onto Park Row! how the hell are you supposed to get to Greek Street???? bloody potty, I just ignored the signs and turned left!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

The annoying thing is you could still get through the gap they have left there to turn right up cookridge street, but the have blocked it off!..They plus side is you can see the old tramlines poking up....See the last few posts herehttp://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=499

A bit of a downer if you are approaching from Northwest or North Leeds as you would have to do almost a full circuit of the loop
