There are various comments on photographs of Stourton appearing on the Leodis site, including one or two from me, but not under this name.

Was Stourton a village??I only recognise it as an extension of the domestic dwellings that sprung up in south leeds to provide homes for Industruial workers. It hardly stood alone from Hunslet, and would seem to be only an extension of it.Holbeck, Hunslet, Beeston are all traceable back to pre industrial revolution villages - is Stourton??
