Fielding Terrace Armley 1950s

Post by Trevchris »

Hi...wondering if any one can help. My grandparents lived at 1 Fielding Terrace in Armley, I am sure that was the address, I remember walking up a steep hill to their house, it was the first of the row of terraces with a street lamp outside. Further along the street there was a shop, I have it in my mind it was called Renee's. I would really like a photo if I could, or just confirmation I have the address right.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Trevor

Hi Trevor

There is very little on Leodis apart from this one picture taken from Armley Road

Below is an 1890 map of Fielding Terrace

Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?
