SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

Hello,As I have been working in Leeds' hopsitality industry for many years now and frequenting the establishments upon Call Lane, I have heard a few tales and storys about some secret tunnels under the bars of this street.Supposedly there is a tunnel going down on each side which connects in the middle somewhere, connecting all the bars together and (supposedly) used by employees when certain bars would get drug raids by the police.Any light on this would be very interesting Many thanks.

Until a few months back i used to work at arts cafe on call lane. The kitchen is downstairs but i saw no signs of any tunnels. just some painted over arched brickwork, but i bet theres some history down there
