Looking at the image it's more likely to be a watch fob than a badge, given the ring at the top, which probably means it's at least pre-Second World War, if not earlier.

It would be interesting to see if there's a silver mark on the back, as this would give an exact date.

That is the badge of the Association of Leeds and District Rifle and Revolver Clubs. I have an old meeting programme which matches it exactly. From the chairman of airebourough Rifle Club
