SPLAY=FULL The houses to the right fronted on to Old Lane inbetween Cross Flatts Crescent and St Anthony's Church. They were still there in the mid-sixties. I don't know the exact date they were demolished - probably forty or so years ago.

That's a coincidence, S'nP, I too went to the match at Elland Road on Sunday for the first time in just over 30 years, and I also spotted what I think is one of these signs.http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Cambria ... ,,0,2.61If you copy and paste the above link into your browser, you should be able to see a sign on the end of a house which I believe says Cambrian Place. According to the map, the terrace of houses is Cambrian Street, so I guess Cambrian Place must have run at a right angle to this, possibly demolished to make way for the M621 and/or its off-sliproad?

I don't believe there is a visible sign (for obvious reasons!) but the streets off Top Moor Side in Holbeck still exist on show on maps where the back to back slums were cleared recently - Runswick Place and Brown Lane East.
