On the approach to Garforth stn(not East Garforth)the lampost signs say no waiting 100 a.m. to 110 a.m monday to friday.What is the point for an hour a day ??????????????

The idea is to discourage commuters from parking there. If it's only enforced for an hour in the working day, the traffic wardens only have to patrol for that hour and it isn't going to give infringers the option to move their cars.

I've always wondered why it refers to 'waiting' when it means parking. Who's waiting for what?
