I worked for years on Hunslet Road.In all those years I never saw people coming and going from Braimes. Honest - never once did I see anyone come out of the front door or go in it.YCL had a big tank of a nasty chemical that if it dropped it's load, the resultant clound would have been a killer. It came under the CIMAH regulations and every week the "killer vapour cloud" alarm had to be tested.Thankfully it was so well protected no problems, however one day a filter in the brown dye process failed and dozens of cars were covered in brown dust. Another night a white cloud drifted across Hunslet road and choked a couple of security guards - not seriously though!
