Hi there,
I am a primary teacher and my class are learning about the 1980s this half term. I thought it would be great to look at how the geography of Leeds has changed either during or since the 1980s. Does anyone have any old/present day photos so that we could do a compare and contrast?
Thanks for taking the time to read this post!

"Back" in the 80's the BBC ran the Domesday Project, the content being submitted mostly by primary school children. When completed, the project was available on two laservision discs.
A few years ago the project was digitised and is now available on the net.

There is also a wealth of pictures on Flickr, YouTube and Facebook, just type in your search requirements.
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?
