New York Place, Bramley
I usd to live on Gamble Hill Drive and have recently found out that where my house was used to be a street called New York Place. Can anyone provide any information about this street please? TIA

Not an actual street, seems to be more of a building.

Hi awpoorshazza and welcome to Secret Leeds .
This map may also help. It is taken from the 1890-1893 1:2500 map in the Old Maps UK website. Ignore the red arrow as that was only to locate the site and I don't know how to remove it when I copied the map section. A 'New York' is marked there on an 1852 map but that was 1:10,560 and too small scale to reproduce readably.
