jf – good call! I’d completely forgotten the Roger Stevens building even though I used to have lectures in it! There’s some good 70s (?) stuff on the campus. That’s the best, but the Boyle Library and the Stoner building are also notable.

Just thinking about the Bruncwick building, does anyone know if they had plans to extend it at one time as one end behind the casino has not been finished properly and still has the steel things poking out of the end.

Got to be the Town Hall for me too, but I also like the Parkinson building at Leeds University....maybe I've just got a thing about clocks !

I noticed this years ago, so wondedred if due to the fact that the staff carpark was next door, they had once planned to make the Brunswick building bigger.

Church-wise I'm going to continue flying the flag for modernism and pick the completely unique Church of the Epiphany in Gipton.
