Here are 3 photos that I took at the Lamb & Flag today (July 7 2015). The first is from Church Row and shows customers enjoying (hopefully :) ) their drinks outside at 12:19. I would guess though that nobody stayed out during the torrential rainstorm that started shortly after 13:00! The second and third photos are taken from High Court. The work going on in the rear in the second one is at Kirkgate House.

Looks nicely done, and the menu is tempting. And seeing as it is only a stone's throw from The Palace will not be hard to make a diversion for a visit.

In a post of mine on June 1 2015 I put a photo taken that day of a building with graffiti and serious looking girders. I had assumed that building was going to be part of what is now the opened Lamb & Flag so it is very unlikely that it is a part. That building does now look like it is being demolished. For interest I have added these 2 photos that I took on July 7 2015, though I could not get a good view due to access being blocked by the vehicle. The serious looking girders (and probably roof beams) are seen. Access to the building is down a short non-through alley off High Court between the Lamb & Flag and another building, as shown in the reduced 2015 Google Street View that I have also added. I wonder what is planned for the site? The building seen in the rear of my photos may, or may not, be part of Kirkgate House that is being redeveloped.

Thanks for that link uncle mick :).

Wow, the inside is like Dr Who's 'Tardis' in looking very much bigger than the outside!
