Cheers for that link uncle mick :).

In its text it states "There’s not an opening date for the restaurant yet, but watch this space – we’ll give you all the details as soon as we get it". When I was talking to a workman there on April 28 2015 he said the opening is not expected to be until at least in July.

Welcome to Secret Leeds Crossley1. I imagine that you will have lots of stories to tell about Church Row.

Also a welcome from me Crossley1. :)

I look forward to reading any history or stories that you recall. Being near strategic targets such as the train station and Marsh Lane depot, and Neville Hill not far away, I would guess that the area may have suffered from bombing raids during WW2.

These are 3 photos that I took at the site today (June 1 2015). The third is in a building that I had not seen inside before (it had a fair amount of graffiti). It has some serious looking girders! As to the opening date I was told it could be in July but probably later.

These are 2 photos that I took at the site today (June 30 2015). A workman told me that it is to open this Friday, but that seems optimistic to me as there still seems to be much work to do.

Thanks for the photo's Leo but why the hell have they got the name "Lamb & Flag" from when we know it used to be the Royal Oak with the Thirteen Bells just a few doors away

A Tweet from the LambandFlaglds twitter account on Monday does suggest a Saturday opening. The monroe gallery website suggests today. I think the workmen are probably now supposed to finish by Friday but there maybe some residual work going on after they open if they do so on Saturday.
